FROM OUR MAY 14 MEETING
NEXT MEETING IS AUGUST 13 AT BUCA DI BEPPO IN WHEELING
NO CHECKS! NO PROBLEM!
You can make your donations by credit card! Use our new online donation system for quick and easy credit card donations.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN WITH THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE GIVING?
When you donate $100 to a charity, you wonder if you're making a difference. But when 100 people donate $100 at the same time, they raise $10,000 for a worthy cause. That's impact. And it only takes an hour.
No volunteering, no telemarketing, no event planning, no silent auction donations to solicit. Simply a great way to give back right in our own community. Come join with us.
THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:
And all you need to do is give $100 and one hour of your time four times a year.
MEMBERS CAN VIEW AND VOTE FROM ANYWHERE!
Members can view the three charity presentations as they are live-streamed on our FB page, and text their votes in real time. Members never have to miss their chance to vote, even if they can't attend. Look for specific details in the email a week before the meeting.

THE PINTA PRIDE PROJECT AWARDED OUR MAIN MAY 2019 DONATION
The big award goes to The Pinta Pride Project presented by Marissa Grossenbach. This organization aims to increase LGBT+ awareness within suburban communities by sponsoring public events and offering support to LGBT+ students in the area.
Our two $500 awards go to Reading Power presented by Karen Duhig, and Brushwood Center presented by Jackie Borchew. Reading Power provides one-to-one literacy tutoring for children pre-kindergarten through second grade in North Chicago and Zion. Brushwood Center provides nature-based programs that nurture personal and community well-being, cultivate creativity, and inspire learning.
