Thanks for your interest in 100 Women Who Care NSC (North Suburban Chicago)!  We always welcome new members and would love to have you as a member or guest at our next meeting.

The idea behind 100 Women Who Care is simple:  THAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH MORE WITH THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE GIVING.  When you donate $100 to a charity, you wonder if you're making a difference.  But when 100 people donate $100 at the same time, they raise $10,000 for a worthy cause.  That's impact. No volunteering, no telemarketing, no event planning, no silent auction donations to solicit.  Just a great way to give back right here in our own community.  When you join, you commit to donating $100, four times a year to the local charities that we choose together, and coming to as many of the four meetings as you can.  At each meeting, three charities are presented by members for five minutes each and the group votes by silent ballot.  We all write checks to the winning charity and as of 5/15 we are at about a $13,000 donation each quarter.  As a member, you can nominate, present, and vote.

Join us at our next meeting at Half Day Brewery in Lincolnshire to see what it’s all about.  Meeting is 7-8 (our meetings only take an hour) but doors open at six for registration and many members come early or stay late to socialize and take advantage of the delicious food and drinks at the restaurant. Meetings are usually the second Tuesday of February, May, August, and November --- check out our website for exact details.
